The Quantum Relic team have been on a brief hiatus straight after the event and over the X-Mas/NYE period, but we're back online now to answer any questions anyone has.

Alot of people have been asking if there will be a Quantum Relic Festival in 2009?

 

All we can say for now, is that due to the quantum nature of the event, it could manifest itself any place, any time... Any dimension even! So keep your ears peeled and eyes listening for any rumours. Quantum Relic has been one of Brisbane's best kept secrets for almost 4 years now, and it'd be a shame if we weren't keeping you on your toes!

 

Our mailing list is currently down, but please drop an e-mail via our contact section and we'll make sure you're clued in on any announcements.

 

Also, please stay tuned while we get the official photo coverage of last years event online for your reflection.

Artifakt [ Timecode Records // South Africa ]

The Artifakt is a founding member of Timecode records, and has been actively producing and releasing since 2001. He has written three albums, all released on Timecode, entitled Artifakts, Artifakts II, and The Magus, as well as having numerous releases on labels such as Digital Psionics, Nexus Media, Red Cells, Sanskarra, and many others. He has a busy mastering facility, doing work recently for Alchemy, Yabai, Digital Psionics, Domo, Timecode, Zenon, and many others. He has played all over the world including (in 2008) the Boom festival, Portugal, Belgium, Israel, Australia, the Azores, The UK, South Africa, the US, Mexico and Canada.

 

Hydrophonic – LIVE [ Nano Records // South Africa ]

Based in their hometown of Cape Town (South Africa), brothers Regan and Gareth (Aka Chesh) started their musical careers as teenagers gigging at night clubs while still at school. With Hydrophonic, they incorporate everything they love about music and sound design to create good vibes on dancefloors the world over. Trying to find the balance between full-on and progressive Psy-Trance, and not sticking to the same old tried and tested formulas, Hydrophonic produce a unique sound that has fast gained them worldwide recognition. Hydrophonic released their debut album “Aquabatics” on NANO in 2004 and have been busy blasting parties and festivals across the globe ever since.

Head to the Stage & Performance Info area of this site, cause we've just updated our two main stages, announced the first round of workshops and the cinema details! The Market stage lineup is due out in the next few hours, and then all you've got to wait for is our stellar roving and on stage performance lineup, the poster art and one more super secret international act announcement!

 

Remember to get in touch with us if you want your market stall at this years event or want to volunteer!

 

Tickets are selling FAST so make sure you get in quick before they advance to the next round!!

We've had some reports of website issues, particularly with people trying to sign upto the mailing list. Currently the workaround for this is to use Firefox as your browser - it's safer and generally more stable. For those that wish to remain loyal to Internet Explorer, we're working on fixing the site ASAP!
